Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rivera Laundry Company. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our pickup and delivery dry cleaning and laundry services (the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Rivera Laundry Company offers residential and commercial laundry, dry cleaning, and pickup/delivery services. Services are billed per pound unless otherwise specified. Specialty items (e.g., comforters, formalwear, sneakers) may carry separate pricing.

2. Pickup & Delivery

A standard $2.95 fuel charge applies per order
Customers must be available or provide clear instructions for pickup/drop-off
Missed pickups may be rescheduled and may incur a fee
We are not liable for delays caused by unavailability or incorrect info

3. Garment Care & Liability

We handle garments with care using industry standards
Not responsible for wear and tear, loose trims, or pre-existing damage
Liability limit: 10x cleaning cost or $100 per item, whichever is less
Items left in pockets (cash, jewelry, pens, etc.) are not our responsibility

4. Turnaround Time

Laundry: typically 48–72 hours
Dry cleaning: varies based on item type but typically 48–72 hours
Delays due to weather, holidays, or access issues may occur

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due once laundry/items are weighted/checked in upon delivery
Accepted methods: credit/debit cards, online payment, cash, check, Zelle
Late fees may apply after 7 days of nonpayment
Disputes must be submitted within 5 days

6. Eco-Friendly Add-On

Optional eco-wash available for a small additional fee
This add-on appears separately on your invoice

7. User Responsibilities

Customer must verify care labels
We may refuse to clean items deemed unsafe or hazardous
Do not send items with flammable or contaminated materials

8. Service Changes & Cancellations

Cancel or reschedule at least 1 hour before scheduled pickup window
Same-day cancellations will incur a charge if after pickup window started

9. Privacy Policy

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for shrinkage, fading, or manufacturer defects
Not liable for missed pickups or delays beyond our control

11. Governing Law

These Terms follow the laws of the State of Illinois

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time
Updates will be posted with the new effective date
